Trelawney Stud will offer a daughter of one of their star racemares and proven broodmares, Boundless, in the upcoming Gavelhouse Plus National Online Breeding Sale.
Ilimitado will be listed on the digital platform from June 27, presenting a rare opportunity to purchase one of only two daughters of the outstanding race mare Boundless by the international sire Charm Spirit.
Boundless not only won New Zealand's premier fillies' race, the NZ Oaks, but also ran a close second in the AJC Oaks. Her stellar career continued with victories in the Counties Cup, ARC Nicolas Feuillatte, and the Hawke's Bay Gold Cup. In a twist of fate, her son Richie McHorse followed in her footsteps by also winning the Hawke's Bay Cup.
Boundless' legacy was further enhanced by Cheaperthandivorce, who won the Waikato Cup and the WRC Thompson Handicap, and placed second in the City of Auckland Cup — a short but glittering career cut short by injury. This is a family of consistent high performers.
Ilimitado is offered as a maiden mare, ready to be bred to a quality stallion this spring. She is a medium-sized (15.2hh), strong, short-coupled mare with a deep girth — a type that will suit most stallions.
