Miss Jones had an impressive win yesterday, taking out Race 1 at Trentham, SportNationNZ Maiden Sprint over 1200 metres.
Trained by Cody Cole and ridden by Opie Bosson in the Trelawney colours, Miss Jones travelled comfortably through the run and proved too strong for her rivals, finishing decisively.
Cherry Taylor paid tribute to the team after the race, saying, “Thanks to Cody Cole and his team — great training and a great ride by Opie. A lovely win for a lovely mare, Miss Jones.”
With another strong performance on the board, Miss Jones looks well placed to continue progressing through the grades.
