Quality filly tops Trelawney draft

New Zealand Bloodstock's bold move to revamp the yearling sale series has been rewarded with the Book 1 results exceeding expectations.

Trelawney Stud sold 20 of the 23 yearlings offered for an aggregate of $2,960,000 placing them as seventh top vendor by this marker.  The farm's average came in as $148,000.

Top lot for the Cambridge vendors was the Pins x Soriano filly who made $420,000 when knocked down to Rogerson Racing, the stable that prepared Soriano over her highly successful career including two Group One wins.

Trelawney would like to thank the buyers who selected horses from their draft, and the staff that make the sales success possible.

Trelawney will offer five yearlings in Book 2, starting at Lot 702 on Thursday.
