Newcastle trainer Kris Lees scored a double at Tarree in Australia on Monday, spear-headed by the Trelawney Stud born and raised Mystic Hill (Savabeel x Cuphill).
Three-year-old filly Mystic Hill was having her second start following on from her runner-up performance at Muswellbrook on November 30. Ridden by Andrew Gibbins she scored by just over five lengths in the Stacks Law Firm Maiden Handicap over 1400m.
Mystic Hill was retained to race by Judi Wanless, a long-time client of Trelawney Stud.
