The Trelawney bred and part-owned Vinevale (Flying Spur x Eden Vale) is in good order to open a new campaign at Hawke’s Bay on Saturday.
She will make her first appearance in the Mulcaster Bloodstock Mile (1600m) following a South Island venture, which resulted in a fourth placing in the Listed Timaru Cup (1600m).
“She trialled at Te Awamutu the other day and she’s come through that very well,” said Jamie Richards, who trains the Flying Spur mare with Stephen Autridge. -NZ Racing Desk
